Thanksgiving Weekend Girls Horse Camp

November 23^rd – 25^th

 Girls Horse Camp is available for young ladies who really love horses and have a strong desire to learn to understand and enjoy horses and horsemanship, wish to improve her riding skills, want to make new “horsey” friends and have lots of fun!

 Each camper is assigned her own horse for the weekend to take care of, learn to groom and tack, feed and water, but most importantly to love.  All campers will receive individual riding instruction each day as well as time to just “hang out” and participate in other “horsey” activities.

 From the program's start, students learn how to handle themselves around horses and how to keep themselves and their horses safe. Our staff of experienced horsewomen is totally committed to making your child's stay with us an exciting and memorable experience.

 We practice Natural Horsemanship, “The art of working with horses in a manner which works WITH the horse's behavior and natural instincts in an easy and kind manner creating a calmer, happier and more willing partner in the horse”.

 Located in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, Mountain Springs Inn & Horse Lick Creek Equestrian Retreat Girls Horse Camp provides a fun, safe and educational environment for your child to learn what it means to be a true horsewoman.
